Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'It is terrible, just terrible! Stanric has died! He was healthy as could be, and on a mission to improve things, and for a time things were getting better. 'The men who had supported Sithric slowly began to change their favour...until suddenly, in the dead of night last night, Stanric -- he is gone! 'Gadda has committed treason and abandoned his post here, and Sithric vows to arrest him and those who went with him on sight. They have set up an outpost at the abandoned farm. Gadda wishes very much to speak with you!' Background You have returned to Stangard to hear some dire news from your friend Sabert at the gate. Objective 1 Find Gadda at the abandoned farm Gadda and a small handful of men loyal to Stanric have escaped Stangard and set up camp at the little farmstead where you planted some hopeful seeds. You should find Gadda at the abandoned farm in the east of Eorlsmead. Gadda: '<name>! You received my message; that is the only good that has come of this mess! You are truly welcome here, my friend. 'Stanric is dead, and I cannot believe it was an accident. He was as healthy a man that ever walked, and Sithric will not give particulars on how he died. 'I suspect treachery, so I escaped while I could. Tatwine and one other came with me....'
